Dripping in Finesse!!! Bomber Jacket Edition Pattern Review McCall 7100

My first pattern review.  I see a lot but I have never actually reviewed a pattern. So here you go!

Pattern: McCalls 7100 with a twist (Bomber Jacket Action)

Fabric Used: Ankara fabric purchased at AKN fabrics and knit ribbing from Joanns

Pattern Sizing: I cut out a large based on my current measurements.

Did it look like the picture /drawing on the pattern envelope once you finished the project: Yes I got held up one part so I made a slight change.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern: I overal liked the pattern. It tested me so I enjoyed the process.

Pattern alterations or any changes you made: I didn't understand the pattern piece 9 and how to add that particular part so I used the ribbing all around the bottom instead of how it is pictured. (Since making the jacket I’ve done my research and my next one will be perfect)

Would you sew it again: YES!!! The next time
I will line it and I want to make one for my oldest.

See below  for more pics of the process and how I styled my jacket!

Edit- Since I wrote those post I have figured out Peice 9 and I am gearing up for my second bomber jacket during fall makes.

The photoshoot was super fun. My daughter Little Miss Jay was behind the lenses and even though it was a little overcast  I can't wait to do it again.

A Girl With Vision

Every year I say I am going to do a vision board and then I look up and its October. So I started prepping my 2016 Vision Board towards the end of 2015 but now I see its February.

I wanted something that not only matched my new sewing room but also grew with me. I found a peg board on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond and I used contact paper from Wal-Mart. Picked up a couple letters from Michaels and Voila!! Soon you will see this is the same paper I used on my craft table when I reveal my new sewing room. I then added my goals for 2016 along with my sewing aspirations.

(Sorry I forgot to take the pre-picture lol)

Some of the things I plan on accomplishing this year along with building the SewMeKrisB and Jada Olivia brands. Since I have so much free time now LOL, there will be more traveling and spending time with family.

Tell me about your Vision Board. .. post pics and tag me to them on IG @sewmekrisb I cant wait to see them...
