This summer I wanted to accomplish two things; 1- Learn how to swim and 2- finally make a bathing suit that fits. I am proud to announce that I was able to accomplish both.
Me and my girls took swim classes at Splash Class Middle Georgia and for the first time and I successfully made the bottom using the Whitney Bottom from Edgewater Ave along with her YouTube channel.
When I first started sewing classes I remember making a bathing suit bottom. The cheeks part was all wrong and I could not get a perfect fit. Six years later I conquered my first bathing suit bottomed. Ii cut a medium and large but I chose the large for a better fit.

The top is from Kommatia patterns that is no longer in print. I accidentally shortened the bodice to much so as quick fix I added a black accent.
The fabric I purchased from spandex world online but it is also no longer available. I bought a new print from fabric mart which you will see in my haul video next week.
