A Girl With Vision

Every year I say I am going to do a vision board and then I look up and its October. So I started prepping my 2016 Vision Board towards the end of 2015 but now I see its February.

I wanted something that not only matched my new sewing room but also grew with me. I found a peg board on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond and I used contact paper from Wal-Mart. Picked up a couple letters from Michaels and Voila!! Soon you will see this is the same paper I used on my craft table when I reveal my new sewing room. I then added my goals for 2016 along with my sewing aspirations.

(Sorry I forgot to take the pre-picture lol)

Some of the things I plan on accomplishing this year along with building the SewMeKrisB and Jada Olivia brands. Since I have so much free time now LOL, there will be more traveling and spending time with family.

Tell me about your Vision Board. .. post pics and tag me to them on IG @sewmekrisb I cant wait to see them...

Where has she been...

Hey Guys!!!

It's been so long since I have had the opportunity to blog much less do anything creative for myself. I have had several life changes, which has now given me the time to become a better blogger as well as evolve my brand.

Around late August early September my husband was offered a better position with his company just in a different city. So made the decision to take that midnight train to Georgia lol. He had to leave in early October, so the girls and I stayed back to get our affairs in order and sell our home. (Tears) I also had time to say good bye to our family, friends, and my beloved career.

We are now getting settled in our now colder city. This is no South Florida but I think this is an amazing opportunity for my family.

In the next few months expect more post from me and a little more dibbling and dabbling in different social media outlets.

I will post some decor from my new home as well some tutorials and patterns review.

I can honestly say I am very excited with everything I have in store for your guys.

Before we close out January I will post my vision board as well as how I achieved it. I think it came out amazing if I say so myself and it has room to change and grow.

Until next time...
